Spring sure is a time for chaotic weather 😮 When I sent my early promo code newsletter, I was admiring the tulips and most of them seem to have blown away or been torn apart by squirrels by now. And here comes a dip in temperatures as I look forward to alliums opening up.
This post was supposed to come earlier, but it has been a very busy week and I have been trying to honour that by incorporating a good amount of rest (remember that balance of yin and yang I wrote about last time). Now it’s time to catch up on some admin and give myself some time to organize: work I can do mentally while giving my body a break.
What mode have you been operating on lately? and does it act in opposition to a more restorative mode that you have? I like to balance physically active times with slow stretching, hot soaks, and receiving massage. I find them also incredibly useful before periods of increased activity, and am grateful when I have the energy to look ahead and plan accordingly.

So the tulips are mostly gone. And this promo code was going to expire. Then I started listening to “Tiptoe Through the Tulips” and went down a wiki rabbithole (did you know Tiny Tim DIED partway through a performance?) and I took a deep breath. I reminded myself to slow down, to stop walking so fast (which I always revert to), and to look around at all the freshly watered greenery.
If you haven’t already, use code TULIP25 for 50% off your next session (one per client, book by end of May 25th). Enjoy the break from the heat; my massage room will be air conditioned by the next time it comes around.
